More Exciting Red Hat Stories of Adventure and Fun

It is no surprise that most girls love to dress up in costumes. Girls love to dress up in costumes like tiaras, pearls, poodle skirts, and boas. Red Hatters have taken that love to dress up with them to their activities. Now, 50 years later, women can still dress up in their boas, poodle skirts and fun hats at every single Red Hat Society event. Below are some more examples of the fun events that are hosted through the Red Hat Society.

The Pearly Girls, of Broome, Australia, decided to take their event to the beach. They hosted the Zoom Into Broome event at Cable Beach, with nearly fifty Red Hatters attending. They enjoyed the white sandy beach, beautiful sunsets, and rides on camels.

The Bodacious Babes of Manhattan Beach, California, decided to leave America and travel to Africa for one of their events. These Red Hat ladies traveled to Johannesburg, South Africa to honor the Zulu women and their special connection to a unique red hat. Traditionally, the Zulu women wear a special red hat at the time of their marriage and they never take that red hat off.

Beverly Wallis and Brenda Allen, both from different States, decided that Red Hat events do not always have to take place locally with their chapter. While attending a family wedding they both decided to get dressed up in their Red Hatter costumes and visit the sites. Their favorite was the Alamo.

In Crystal Coast, North Carolina, the Les Rouge-ette’s decided to visit a barrier island off of the coast of North Carolina. They enjoyed a tour to the Cape Lookout Light House on Bogue Banks. After a ferry ride around the island, they enjoyed a great picnic, swimming, and shell hunting.

The Waimate Petals and Petunias decided to take a trip to Tekapo, New Zealand. New Zealand has some of the most gorgeous mountains on the planet and Red Hatters know how to enjoy their beauty. While they were there, they enjoyed the Mt. John Observatory.

In Crossiville, Tennessee, the Tansi Tarts decided to make a trip out of state to go white water rafting. They went rafting at the Cumberland Falls. The rafting was fun, but these sisters also had just as much fun staying up late talking in their cabins.

These fun adventures all happened while these amazing women were dressed up in Red Hatter garb. For your next Red Hat event, consider wearing a beautiful poodle skirt, fun boa, or beautiful set of pearls. Wearing a poodle skirt, especially a purple poodle skirt, can be a lot of fun and help you stand out even more at your next event.
