Red Hat Society Chapters

From our previous articles you now know the fun that can be had by joining the Red Hat Society. Many of you may be wondering how you can locate a chapter in your area. There are many resources available to help you with that.

The easiest method is to look up chapters on the Red Hat Society website. They have easy instructions that walk you through the process of joining. There are several places you can click for new members, the easiest being the top tab labeled “Join RHS”.

This new page will have a place that says “Click here” to find the number of chapters near your location . After you click on that button you will have three different options for searching for your local chapter. You can look for your chapters through State, Country, or Zip Code.

Each of these sources are easy to navigate. Searching by Zip code is only available to those living in the United States or Canada, however. If you are living outside these areas you can easily search through the Country search engine and find the cities listed alphabetically to make them easier to find.

Each chapter will have information you can view for the area that you want. The local chapter should provide its name, the Queen’s name, and the area the chapter is located at. It will also usually provide a few sentences about the chapter to give a little information about it.

To the right of all that information you can click on “Contact This Chapter”. A new window will pop up and you can fill out the information on how you would like to be contacted. It has an area for you to type a message and as any questions you might have.

You can also print off an application online and send it in the mail, if you would rather do that. You can find the application here. If you run in to any problems or questions you can contact them by email at

They also can be reached by telephone. They are available to be reached during normal business hours Monday through Friday. Call 1-866-386-2850 for calls within the United States, and 1-714-738-0001 for all International calls.
