It is no surprise that most girls love to dress up in costumes. Girls love to dress up in costumes like tiaras, pearls, poodle skirts, and boas. Red Hatters have taken that love to dress up with them to their activities. Now, 50 years later, women can still dress up in their boas, poodle skirts and fun hats at every single Red Hat Society event. Below are some more examples of the fun events that are hosted through the Red Hat Society.

The Pearly Girls, of Broome, Australia, decided to take their event to the beach. They hosted the Zoom Into Broome event at Cable Beach, with nearly fifty Red Hatters attending. They enjoyed the white sandy beach, beautiful sunsets, and rides on camels.

The Bodacious Babes of Manhattan Beach, California, decided to leave America and travel to Africa for one of their events. These Red Hat ladies traveled to Johannesburg, South Africa to honor the Zulu women and their special connection to a unique red hat. Traditionally, the Zulu women wear a special red hat at the time of their marriage and they never take that red hat off.
